participative public of
Super Night Shot
The British-German collective Gob Squad, in Italy, presents Super Night Shot, one of the most successful performances of the last few years, each time created ad hoc for the host city. It’s a multi-screen live event, filmed one hour before the beginning of the show by four performers who immortalise the streets of Milan with four video cameras which are then simultaneously played back in the theatre showing. Unaware passers-by and obscure corners of the city become the protagonists and background of a live video, of real life, in which everybody is given the opportunity to escape from their anonymity and, for a minute, become a star. Both funny and moving, with technical mastery and originality, Super Night Shot unveils and magnifies the uniqueness of the everyday, giving the city and its inhabitants the gift of a magic moment.
